High Seas Conference results are out!
Check out the outcomes of the MARINA international event.

The World Ocean Network has published the results of the International Conference of the High Seas held by EurOcean's Member Nausicaa in Boulogne-Sur-Mer (France) on June 28th.

The 2-page document sums the highlights of the day and is available here. More information can be found on the MARINA Platform - a tool currently being developed with the support of EurOcean.

Following the Structured Democratic Dialogue Process (SDDP), the participants supported actions to strengthen the effectiveness of existing organisations managing high seas issues and advocated for additional research to fill knowledge gaps. The need to raise awareness, the need to improve the performance of governance bodies and the need to increase the support to the negociations on BBNJ were other major actions emerging from the discussion.
