Space for Our Planet Exhibition
ECFAS Project is featured in Climate Action Panel

“Space for our Planet” exhibition was inaugurated at the Esplanade of the European Parliament on 28 September, 2021.

‘Space4OurPlanet’ examines the key role of space technologies in the transition towards a sustainable planet while also showing how younger generations are empowered and involved in this transition.

The exhibition will encompass the portraits of 17 ‘actors of change’ throughout the world: each portrait encapsulates one of the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) and will demonstrate how space technologies can be used as a solution to all the topics covered by the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals.

ECFAS Project is featured in Panel 13 – Climate ActionECFAS‘s Emmanouela Ieronymidi, Planetek Hellas, Athens, Greece, describes how ECFAS will contribute to mitigating climate change impacts. Emmanouela is one of 25 selected “witnesses” from around the world, from fishermen to climate experts, from astronauts to students, who explain how space technologies and applications are making a difference in achieving the 17 United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
