Nausicaá's turnover more than doubled in 2018
After the latest expansion of its aquarium, the visitors of the EurOcean Member now spend more time and money in their facilities in Boulogne-sur-Mer.

The arrival of Grand Nausicaá has boosted the revenue of the French National Centre of the Sea. Its turnover exceeds twenty million euros in 2018.

It was predictable and the City Council of Boulogne-sur-Mer, confirmed it on 27 September 2019. Between 2017 and 2018, the turnover of Nausicaá had an increase of 116%, according to the figures provided by the Mayor, Frédéric Cuvillier.

The Grand Nausicaá was inaugurated in May 2018 after a XXL extension of the aquarium, whose entry price starts at € 19.50. The visitors e of visitors make a stop at Nausicaá's shop or new restaurant, helping to inflate the centre’s revenue. The average length of visit is now 4 hours and 30 minutes; before it was 2 hours and 45 minutes.
