Bringing the Ocean to Society

EurOcean's Children's Art Contest was a blast!
Check out the quality of the nearly one-hundred art works we received.

91 beautiful artworks made by children all over the world arrived at EurOcean’s office before our tribute event to Prof. Mário Ruivo. Why? Because in order to promote Prof. Ruivo’s legacy about ocean literacy we set up an international art’s contest as you can see here.

We took all the paintings and drawings to Brussels and exhibited them in one of the wings of the Bozar Centre of Fine Arts where the tribute event took place. The attendees got the chance to vote on their favourites and the most voted piece of art was a collage made by Avari Dipeshe, a 7 years old student from St. Julian´s School in Portugal. Check the video of the announcement of the results of the voting hereAll young artists will now get a certificate from EurOcean.
