SEA CHANGE final booklet and video launched
Learn more about ocean literacy and how can you take actions to protect our ocean.

Sea Change, a European Horizon 2020-funded project, has worked for the past three years to create a fundamental 'Sea Change' in the way European citizens view their relationship with the sea. Sea Change used the concept of Ocean Literacy to encourage citizens to take direct and sustainable action towards a healthy ocean, healthy communities and ultimately a healthy planet.

Sea Change concluded with the final project conference held in Paris, France, on 15 February 2018. An in-depth Key Achievements booklet was designed to illustrate the project's diverse achievements, which is available to download from the project website at: www.seachangeproject.eu/images/SEACHANGE/Media_Centre/sc_KA_booklet.pdf

An insightful Key Achievements video was also produced which delves into the background of Ocean Literacy, how the project came to be, and what has been achieved to date. The video was shared across social media and has achieved over 29,000 views since its creation. It is available on the project's Vimeo channel here: www.vimeo.com/261104093

To coincide with the project's culmination on Valentine's Day 2018, a 'Love the Ocean' campaign was designed to encourage all citizens to 'Love the Ocean' better in their daily lives. The campaign was a great success, reaching over two million people across five social media platforms. The campaign landing page is available at: www.lovetheocean.eu
