MaRINET2 opens registration for fifth course on offshore renewables
Deadline is 17 March 2019.

Applications for the 5th MaRINET2 Marine Renewable Energy Program, "FloWave Ocean Energy Research Facility" and European Marine Energy Center, EMEC, "Test and verification processes from tanks to the sea" are now open. This course is scheduled for 22-24 April and will take place in Edinburgh, UK. Applications for this course will end on 17 March.

These two-to-five-day courses are part of a 10 courses programme that will be carried throughout the project's 54 months.

As in the previous version of the MaRINET international project, the courses are organized and taught by project partners, distributed equally in wind, waves and tides. In addition to coordinating the courses, WavEC will participate in the organization of three of these courses.

The updated schedule can be consulted on the project page as the courses are approached and confirmed here.

MaRINET2 is a € 10.5m project funded by the European Commission's Horizon 2020 program and coordinated by the MaREI (Marine and Renewable Energy Ireland) Center at University College Cork.

The project aims to accelerate the development of offshore renewable energy technologies by providing free access to a network of 57 research facilities across Europe.
