Dear reader of the EurOcean newsletter,

In accordance with EU data protection laws on General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), we would like to inform you that your contact details are saved in the server used by EurOcean. Your information is saved because you are a recipient of our monthly newsletter, you have been an invitee or an attendee at one of our events, your details are associated with an infrastructure or project in our databases or you met members of the EurOcean staff and gave them your business card or contact details.

Every month EurOcean sends a newsletter to its database of contacts with a compilation of news about the activity of EurOcean and its Members as well as other articles on wider topics related to the European marine sphere. Occasionally, you may also receive other emails from us with invitations to participate in events or surveys we organise.

The protection of your personal data is of special importance to us. We hereby confirm that your contact details will be used by us only to contact you for information purposes and will only be passed to specific third parties in the particular circumstances described in our Privacy Policy, which we recently updated in order to make things as clear as possible.

We will never use your personal data for any commercial purpose. You have the right to request information about the details we hold on you or otherwise instruct us to correct, delete or restrict the use of your data. We truly hope you continue to find our information services relevant,
