Two Calls for Small Projects on Marine Protected Areas
The MedPaN Calls aim to reinforce MPA management in the Mediterranean Sea

The MedPAN Calls for Small Projects concern:

  • The projects conducted by MPA management authorities or by organisations responsible or involved in MPA management. The organisations must be members of MedPAN or become members of the MedPAN Association before the implementation of the project – or be official partners of the MedPAN Association.
     
  • The projects conducted by organisations (NGOs, private companies, scientific institutions ...) collaborating with MPAs that are MedPAN members (or future members of the MedPAN Association) or MedPAN official partners.


Call #1: Special Call for Small Projects
 

This Call is only open to 5 Mediterranean countries: Algeria, Egypt, Lebanon, Morocco and Tunisia.

The Call is targeting 2 topics only:

  • Long-term financing mechanism
  • Strengthening the communication of MPAs

The MPA management authorities and the organisations who wish to participate will need to send the Grant Application Form to the MedPAN Secretariat before November 19th 2017.

Call #2: Regular Call for Small Projects

The Call is open to all Mediterranean coutries

The MPA management authorities and the organisations who wish to participate will need to send the Grant Application Form to the MedPAN Secretariat before January 7th 2018.

You will find all the details regarding participation eligibility, the type of projects that are required and the selection process in the Rules document of the Call for Small Projects.
