EurOcean activities during 2017 European Maritime Day
The event is taking place in Poole, United Kingdom, from 18th to 19th May.

EurOcean will share with its Member SUBMARINER a booth at the European Maritime Day. If you wish to know more on EurOcean activities and main products do stop by! We will have fresh for you our 2016 Annual Report and a first brief analysis of the marine component of H2020; INTERREG V and LIFE programmes.

Apart from being present at the main event venue, EurOcean together with NOC and COLUMBUS Operational Leader AquaTT and Marine South East is organising a workshop on Marine Knowledge Transfer and Innovation: Learning from Regional and European Initiatives, to take place at the NOC facilities in Southampton, UK on May 17th 2017, from 11:00h until 18:00h.

The objective of this workshop will be to present and discuss recent developments and progress in relation to marine knowledge transfer and innovation and in particular a) examine good practice and progress arising from recent initiatives at a regional and European level, b) identify where barriers have been overcome and whether efforts can be replicated, c) brainstorm ideas as to how to overcome challenges and barriers in the future.
