The Centre of Marine and Environmental Research - CIMAR of the University of Porto has the following positions available:

- Assistant Researcher in Marine biodiversity and ecosystem functioning (5 positions)

CIIMAR opens 5 positions as assistant researcher to integrate a program on biodiversity of Portuguese marine ecosystems, and the evolution of these ecosystems in face of local policies and global change. The candidates (Portuguese or foreigner), must hold a PhD and at least 3 years of relevant post-doc experience and high-standard scientific production in the main fields relevant for the positions opened.

- Assistant Researcher in Physiological and Nutritional Genomics (3 positions)

CIIMAR opens 3 positions as assistant researcher in Physiological and Nutritional Genomics, focusing on the effects of environmental factors in aquatic organisms. The work will focus on the molecular basis of metabolic and functional adaptation, and the development of biomarkers. The candidates (Portuguese or foreigner), must hold a PhD and at least 3 years of relevant post-doc experience and outstanding publication track records in Genomics and related fields.
