The Forum will address the following questions:
- What blue technologies can we expect in the future?
- What impacts might they have on science and/or society? and
- What support is necessary to fast-track their development?
The Forum will be visionary in its approach and will feature keynote presentations, case studies, flash presentations and an open floor discussion. The event is designed to showcase and discuss developing or future technologies which may have a significant scientific or societal impact.
Who should attend the Forum?
European and national policymakers, advisors and programme managers, scientists, and representatives from industry and NGOs.
Location and date:
The Forum will take place in the centre of Brussels, at the Royal Flemish Academy of Belgium for Sciences and the Arts (Hertogsstraat 1, 1000 Brussels), on Wednesday 18 April 2012.
