In 2008, NAUSICAÄ, the French National Sea Experience Centre in Boulogne-sur Mer, is creating "Planet NAUSICAÄ", an interactive, educational and informative multimedia tool on the sea and sustainable development. This new NAUSICAÄ is planning the creation of a temporary exhibition in the first part of the visit, to be renewed every two years. Such an exhibit will zoom in on different maritime regions of the world, featuring a sea, a coast, an archipelago or an island, and the people who live there. The first of the series will open on 28 June 2008 with the Exhibit-Report on Madagascar and the Mozambique Channel.
