IOC's Fellowship Programme aims to contribute to the development of a new generation of African marine science leaders who will contribute to long-term adaptation to climate change, which is of special relevance for African coastal communities' livelihoods.

The Fellowship Programme will support 12 young African marine scientists to address ocean and coastal adaptation to climate change in their own countries.
