On the 10th and 11th of November the EurOcean Steering Committee (held at EMSA: European Maritime Safety Agency in Lisbon, Portugal) approved a number of decisions concerning the future of EurOcean, and reinforced the strategic importance of EurOcean as an European Marine Information Network, the next meeting is expected to early October 2010 at GeoEcoMar, Romania.
