2021 World of Shipping Portugal, An International Research Conference on Maritime Affairs
28-29 Jan 2021 | Carcavelos, Portugal

Subject to the theme "In the Aftermath of 2020! What's Next?", the 2021 World of Shipping Portugal, an International Research Conference on Maritime Affairs invites Leading Academic Scientists, Researchers, Research Scholars and Practitioners from all over the world, belonging to academia, industry, international organisations and governments, to participate in this international Conference by submitting a conceptual, empirical or any other type of research paper in the field of shipping, ports and maritime-related logistics issues.

This is a unique opportunity for the Country and the International maritime community to come together and discuss current shipping, ports and maritime-related logistics issues, recent trends, technological, operational and legislative developments and the challenges to be faced by the maritime industry in the future.

Participants will have the opportunity to discover a city full of historical monuments that represent the strength and entrepreneurship of the earlier navigators who slowly went on discovering new lands and people, that at a later stage in the history of humankind, gave origin to new countries, and which are part of today's international community.
