Model Arctic Council Thematic Network

From the Model Arctic Council in 2018, held at the Lappland University in Rovaniemi Finland.

The University of Akureyri, in cooperation with the Model Arctic Council Thematic Network, will host a Model Arctic Council (MAC) from March 23 to 26, 2020 in Akureyri, Iceland, for students interested in Arctic and circumpolar affairs.

MAC is an academic program in which students from universities throughout the circumpolar north and beyond actively participate in a collaborative, experiential learning exercise to expand their knowledge of salient challenges and concerns in the Arctic.
